ICYMI: Next Generation Leaders Advance from Primary Election

Young leaders run to build a more affordable, inclusive, and resilient future for New Hampshire.

NEW HAMPSHIRE - After last Tuesday’s Primary Election, over 100 young leaders will appear on the ballot in November’s General Election. From the State House and State Senate to the Executive Council and Congress, voters have the opportunity to elect the next generation of leadership. In response to the historic slate of young leaders advancing from their primary elections, 603 Forward Executive Director Julianne Gadoury, released the following statement:

 “To make the progress we need for our communities, we need to elect new leadership for New Hampshire. Faced with generational crises like the soaring costs of housing and child care, young Granite Staters are desperate for relief and a chance to get ahead. These leaders running at all levels are ready to bring that change and give voice to the experiences of young Granite Staters in the halls of power. With effective, inspiring leadership, we can make our government deliver for hardworking families and restore faith in our democracy. 603 Forward is committed to building a New Hampshire where everyone can thrive. That starts by electing young leaders to every level of the ballot, in every election. The choice is clear this November."

Background - 603 Forward leads a year-round candidate recruitment and training program to prepare next-generation leaders to run for offices up and down the ballot. This year, 603 Forward hosted ten trainings for prospective State House candidates and directly trained over 55 young leaders. Since 2021, 603 Forward has helped recruit, train, and elect over 260 young Granite Staters to local and state offices in New Hampshire. 

 603 Forward plans to run a comprehensive six-figure independent expenditure program including canvass, mail, and digital to help get these young leaders across the finish line in November and elect a state government that will put people over politics.
