603 Forward and The Forward Foundation Announce Julianne Gadoury as New Executive Director

MANCHESTER, NH – After an extensive search, 603 Forward and The Forward Foundation will be led by Julianne Gadoury, who will serve as the next Executive Director for both the statewide organizations. Gadoury’s proven experience in strategic community development, non profit leadership, and advancing equity, positions the organizations to continue driving forward initiatives that will expand civic engagement and promote affordable and equitable opportunities for young people and working families to thrive in New Hampshire.

603 Forward, a 501c4 nonprofit, supports New Hampshire’s next generation of leaders with diverse identities and lived experiences to run for office and serve our communities at every level of public service. The Forward Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, empowers civically engaged Granite Staters through the protection of democracy and voting rights; reforming public service and elected positions to be more conducive for working age adults; and bolstering our economy through increased affordable and workforce housing. Both organizations are known for their attention to, and celebration of, the unique, rural and underserved regions of the state.

“Julianne’s experience in cross-sector coalition building, fostering collaborative teams, and developing meaningful partnerships is exactly the organizational leadership needed for 603 Forward and The Forward Foundation’s next phase of growth. Our organizations’ unique mission and active partnerships in statewide efforts are proving to be more urgent than ever to build a stronger, more inclusive New Hampshire where democracy is protected above all else; young people have a voice in government at all levels; and policy changes help to build an inclusive, affordable, and resilient state.” said 603 Foward and The Forward Foundation co-founders Lucas Meyer and Liz Wester.

Gadoury’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as both organizations aim to amplify their efforts in fostering inclusive civic participation and advancing equitable opportunities for all New Hampshire residents. Prior to joining 603 Forward and The Forward Foundation, Gadoury served as the Executive Director of Kimball Jenkins, a historic nonprofit cultural center that increased access to diverse educational and cultural opportunities. She has served on and chaired numerous community boards and committees, and worked for the State of New Hampshire, Council on the Arts as a Grants and Program Coordinator.

603 Forward and The Forward Foundation envision a thriving New Hampshire where people are free to live, work and raise a family. In our New Hampshire: democracy is protected above all else; young people have a voice in government at all levels; and policy changes to help build an inclusive, affordable and resilient state.
